First Edition. First Printing, with all points to book and dustwrapper,
of King's first book, basis for two movies, the first starring Sissy
Spacek. Book slightly cocked but clean and tight. Dustwrapper complete
but for minor chipping at the head of the spine and near the upper front
corner with wear at the bottom front corner. Near Fine in a Very Good
dustwrapper.
Written while King was a full-time teacher and living in a trailer park
with his wife and two young children. In despair King tossed the
manuscript in the trash can, but it was rescued by his wife, Tabitha,
