Edition. Folio (12" x 16") consisting of 6 serigraphs, title page, a 
table of contents, and a colophon page. There were 300 copies of 
Hurston's book illustrated by Saar and published by the Limited Editions 
Club but only 75 copies of the portfolio of numbered and SIGNED 
mutlicolor collage serigraphs printed at the Drexel Press on Fabriano 
Rosapina paper. This is copy #55 of 75 (there were also 5 Artist's 
Proofs), with each serigraph numbered and SIGNED by the artist. The 
portfolio contains the following: "Magnolia Flower," "Mother Catherine," 
"High John De Conquer," "The Conscience of the Court," "The Bone of 
Contention," and "Now You Cookin' with Gas." Fine in a Fine silk 
clamshell box with a gilt-lettered leather label on the front. (#016643)
