First Edition.  36pp.  Bound in black-morocco-backed marbled boards; top of
spine scuffed, light foxing.  5.75" x 3.75".

This book centers on Moravian missions to the Native Americans of Georgia
and the Mohicans of New York State. Tschoop was a Mohican Chief.
Provenance: Old pastedown bookplate of the Sunday School Library of St.
John's Church, Elizabeth, N.J. Inked on the free endpaper, "From Rev. T.D.
