Illustrated with 2 large engraved folding maps (1, a plan of the city of Rio de Janeiro, the other of the Provinces of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, with the route of the author's travels outlined in red. Additionally illustrated with 19 plates and 1 leaf (2 pages) of engraved music, complete.  Later 19th century half black calf, over green cloth, gilt decorated spine bands (rubbed). Hinges and extremities rubbed, but quite sound.    $850.00 (trade discount allowed)
