Published by the American Numismatic Society in 1927 in an edition of 
350 numbered copies.

A pioneering work on silver, bronze, pewter, and copper medals issued by 
the British government for the American and Canadian colonies, and the 
post-Colonial American government. Based largely on the fine collection 
held by the Society, with additions, most of the medals are reproduced 
life-size. Reissued by Flayderman in 1966 and 1972, this original, 
limited edition is scarce in the marketplace.

Softcover. 9”x11.5”, 47 pages plus 22 black & white plates [46 numbered 
plates and a frontispiece]. Covers with portions torn off, some soil, 
unrelated 1956 gift inscription. Contents clean. $250 net
