Alice Le Plongeon was the first European (she was English) woman to live and work in the Yucatan. She wrote HERE AND THERE IN YUCATAN in 1886. QUEEN MOO'S TALISMAN is called her "epic poem" and is a work of great interest to those involved with Mayan research.
