DE ADVENTU Christi, Elegia... Wittenberg: No pub. (Hans Krafft). 1568. ff.(4). Title within woodcut border, with a fine woodcut of Christ and disciples. Bound together in later plain boards.    $750.00 (trade discount allowed)
Two very scarce little works, the first being a poetical description of the Destruction of Jerusalem, the second work being poetry on the life of Christ. Artomedes (1544-1602) was a theologian and poet. His collected poetry was printed in 1590.
I: VD A3862.  Most likely his first publication, at age 19.
II: VD ZV808 (not in the printed set, only an added title, recorded on-line).
