With engraved frontispiece portrait and 41 copper engraved plates (some folding) of Roman antiquities and sculpture. Orig. mottled calf, covers with gilt borders and spine ornately gilt, with red morocco spine label. With the copper engraved armorial bookplate of "Rolle" (i.e., John Rolle, 1750-1842). Two small chips at the head of the spine, but a very attractive copy.                  $1,000.00 (trade discount allowed)
