This seems to be the most extensive report on the Mariposas mining operation in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, close to Merced City. There is another much more common report: THE MARIPOSA ESTATE; ITS PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE, 1868, which is only 62 pages. Not in Cowan.  Not in Howes.
