The Coast of Africa. An Account Of An Extraordinary Escape from the 
Effects of a Storm in a Journey over the Frozen Sea, In North America. 
Dublin: Printed by W. Espy, 1819.
First edition; 24mo., (5.5" x 3.5"), 180pp. Illustrated with an engraved 
frontispiece and five additional inserted engraved plates; gray paper 
covered boards; spine mostly eroded to underlying cloth, boards detached 
but present, book block with preliminaries and following leaves complete 
and tight; there is a small embossed stamp on the title page from the 
New Bedford Public Library and an accession number but the stamp is very 
faint;  The vessel the Antelope was in the East Indian Company's 
service, commanded by Capt. Henry Wilson, which arrived in Macao in June 
1783. Mentions Pelew, Raa Kook,  the Oroolong, and events in  the China 
sea region.
