1970s Windows on the World - World Trade Center Restaurant Dinner Menu.
Windows on the World, which opened on April 19, 1976, was located on the
107th floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. The restaurant
was closed after the 1993 bombing in the garage of the tower, was given
a $25 million renovation and reopened in 1996. This menu includes a
complete selection of 5-course dinners for $16.50 as well as a-la-carte
appetizers, main courses, vegetables, salads and deserts for prices that
look to be late 1970s or possibly very early 1980s (sea scallops for
$9.95 at one of the toniest restaurants in Manhattan?).
Folder. 10.5”x14.75”. Some soil and wear, slight smoke smell (you could
smoke in restaurants back then). $175
