THURBER, James. TYPED LETTER SIGNED (TLS). West Cornwall, CT, 28 Oct.
1959. Brief TYPED LETTER SIGNED to the production coordinator of the
National Council of the Protestant Episcopal Church: "I appreciate your
asking me to be interviewed on 'VIEWPOINT', but it would be impossible,
even within the next six months. Since my book on Ross was published, I
have been overwhelmed by requests which I have the spirit, but neither
the time nor the strength, to accept." With a fine SIGNATURE, not as
much of a sprawl as often seen at this stage of Thurber's life. With the
typed envelope with Thurber's name and address in ink in a neat hand on
the verso. Folds from mailing; original envelope present. About Fine.
(#013996) $350.00
