Bosqui for) Thomas Hill. January, 1881. Sm. 8vo. 40pp. Woodcut device on title page. Folding frontispiece "key" to the 71 men depicted in the painting. Cont. pebbled black calf, a presentation binding stamped in gold on the front cover, "Geo. C. Perkins, Compliments of Thomas Hill." Spine rather rubbed, but quite sound. Additionally with Perkins' rubber stamp on the front free endpaper.     $300.00 (trade discount allowed)
George C. Perkins was serving as the 14th Governor of California in 1881.
