[JAPAN] EASTLAKE, Delano, M. D. TABI NO TSUREZURE FOR THE ENNUI OF 
TRAVELLERS. Tokyo: Sheibisha, 1903. First Edition. String-tied 
silk-covered flexible pictorial wraps. Designated as a "Quarterly 
Publication" on the title page, the front cover states that this is the 
First Number: Autumn. Illustrated with 9 color plates printed on one 
side only, one folding, by Tanaka Kinsen and others. Includes extensive 
railroad time tables at the end. According to the preface, this book 
"does not pretend to be a Guide Book, or to contain anything especially 
new but a discription [sic] of some of the beauties of Japan, and above 
all, a practical aid to the traveller, whether he be foreign or native." 
Both covers and title and contents page detached as only the center 
string survives. Contents Near Fine but for the title page which has
