Cont. half calf over marbled boards, extremities somewhat rubbed, and a few cracks in the hinge of Vol. 2  (i.e., volumes 3-4), but both volumes are quite sound.    $450.00 (trade discount allowed)
Christopher Wordsworth's (1807-1885) most notable scholarly work. It contains hundreds of pages of introductions, notes and commentaries on the Greek New Testament. This first edition is surprisingly scarce, even Darlow & Moule (#4889) only listing "The Fifth Edition," actually a mixed set of fifth and sixth editions, 1867-1868.
