cloth; 72 pages. Illustrated with a frontispiece, 8 full-page plates, 3 
folding plates, and a large colored folding "Map of the Central Park 
Showing the progress of the Work up to January 1st 1860" as laid out by 
Frederick Law Olmstead and Calvert Vaux. Small ink stamp on front 
endpaper: With respects of/Geo. M. Van Nort./Clerk. B.C.C.CP." Some wear
