Offered today:

For all you Typophiles out there.... This tasty little item is a
complete history of the Kate Greenaway Mignonettes that were available
from American Type Founders from 1897 through the 1920s. The Mignonettes
were essentially a series of type ornaments (dingbats) based on the
ever-popular drawings of English children's book author and illustrator,
Kate Greenaway (1846-1901).

The book was published by woman printer and type historian Jane Wardell
Roberts (1925-2015). Roberts was active in her community of Fitzwilliam,
New Hampshire, where she taught various crafts, and especially
letterpress printing. Her love for the printing craft inspired her to
create the Old Time Press in Fitzwilliam, a fully operational
nineteenth-century print shop. Her personal passion was
nineteenth-century type faces.
