(16),298,(6)pp. Index. With the errata leaf with publisher's ads on the verso (A8). Illustrated with 13 text woodcuts. Second printing (first is 1692, both exactly the same pagination) of the English translation of Daniel's (1649-1728) "Voiage du Monde de Descartes," first published in Paris in 1690. This work (Wing D202) is sometimes referred to as an ingenious satire of Descartes' system of vortices. The authorship has also been attributed to Daniel Defoe. Because it is, in effect, a cosmic voyage to the moon, it is picked up by all the fantasy, science fiction, and Utopian bibliographies.
