[Lady Eleanor Grosvenor, ne Egerton:] Diary of the Honble Miss Egerton, afterwards Marchioness of Westminster, during the years !787 and 1788: Giving an account of a tour in France and the North of Italy. London: Henry Massey, 1855. First edition or first edition thus. Small 8vo (18.5 cm) in original vellum binding with gilt-lettered title on the upper cover, marbled endpapers and page edges; [4] + 206 pp.

Some soiling and rubbing to the vellum binding, a couple of small ink stains on rear cover, scuff mark to spine; early presentation inscription on front (blank) endpaper, otherwise contents very clean and bright, firmly bound. Surprisingly scarce: we find no other examples in commerce and OCLC locates only one copy, at Duke University.
