Eine Sammlung der Werthvollsten Erhaltenen Monumente in Chronologischer Folge Geordnet. The most valuable and prominent preserved monuments listed in chronological order. Photographs printed in collotype. Tiny adhesive bookseller stamp of G Holzer, Boston. Title page dated 1888 but collotype plates which are from photographs dated 1907. Massive volumes weighing in at 40 pounds shipped. 17.125 x 14.5". Vol I has aprox 175 leaves of plates. Generally 1 to a page but very occasionally more. So there are 175+ plates. Vol II has aprox 165 leaves of plates, tp, 2pp index. 165+ plates. Plates have been counted. Total number of plates counted is 340+. Plates are on card with clear designs and some aging to edges of margins. Solidly bound in burlap with leather spine labels which are somewhat chipped. A 4 volumes in two- 40 pounds original price 399.95
