A very fine color facsimile of an illuminated 12th century manuscript roll, owned by the Biblioteca Casanatense in Rome. This manuscript is considered one of the most interesting Romanesque liturgical rolls from Southern Italy. The text is that of the liturgical chant sung on Easter Eve, written in Beneventan minuscule. The fine illuminations include scenes from the Old and New Testament, in 9 or more colors.  Note: an Italian dealer currently offers this at $6400.
