The catalog to an auction held in Boston by Wheatland & Bird,
Auctioneers, on February 21st and 23rd, 1877.
A very early auction catalog of the imported Japanese wares which were
in such demand by wealthy collectors, artists and high society
decorators, when the Japonism craze was sweeping American, England and
Europe.
Softcover. 6"x8", 8 pages, 167 lots. Original red paper covers somewhat
worn, creased. Covers and several pages detached, but all present. Very
fragile. [41874] $125

Standard courtesies to institutions and the trade; Postage charges are
$5.00 for the first book, and $2.00 for each additional book. Shipments
outside the U.S. will be billed at cost. We accept returns if we are
notified within ten days of your receipt of the books-please ask for
full instructions and terms. Massachusetts residents must add 6.25%
state sales tax.
