Vellum with some soiling and discoloration. Overall a very nice copy with the elaborate engraved bookplate, dated 1771, of Jacobus Maximilianus, Count of the Holy Roman Empire, engraved by Italian engraver Teodoro Viero.    $1,500.00 (trade discount allowed)

The first printing under this title is 1556, the second printing is 1563, with the editor's further revisions. Later editions appeared in 1570 and 1580.
