This collection of laws contains the second edition of the REGLAMENTO, of 1784, which was the first printed laws governing Upper California. This 1838 edition was long overlooked by many bibliographers, in fact it is not mentioned in the ZAMORANO 80 (#62). The text of the REGLAMENTO appears in this volume on pages 121-175. Also, pages 119-121 contain records of the Presidios in Upper California. See the STREETER SALE #2490. Howes C60 (recording this 1838 edition correctly as the second edition).
