Finely bound in 18th century red crushed morocco, gilt triple lines along the edges of the covers and spine ornately gilt in six compartments. The binding is very much in the style of Roger Payne. Title lightly soiled. Some occasional text annotations in an early hand. Engraved armorial bookplate of Irishman Wilmot Vaughan 4th Viscount Lisburne (1730-1800).
