Ferrier, n.d. First British Edition. Decorated red cloth, part of the
Famous Scots Series and likely published in the same year as the
American edition, 1905. Carnegie's biography of the inventor of the
steam engine. INSCRIBED on the half-title page by the author "To
Alexander Booth Esq/Laurel Bank/Dalkeith Road/Dundee" and SIGNED in full
"Andrew Carnegie." Laid in is a four-page publisher's catalog. Mild
sunning to the spine. Near Fine with a fine inscription. (#018624)
