With 38 folding engraved plates, each with descriptive text. Title page printed in red & black. Cont. calf, nicely rebacked with the old spine laid down. Red morocco spine label. Front free endpapers with some stains from old glue? otherwise a solid, very good copy.    $1,750.00 (trade discount allowed)
This is the second and best English language edition, translated by John James. The first English edition was published in 1712 and had 218 pages with 32 plates. A very influential work in both France and England.
