Three rare legal texts, all relating to Ecclesiastical Benefices in Canon Law, i.e., the pensions and salaries of the clergy. Only the first text has the large "A.B." device of Antonio Blado in Rome, but all are set in type exactly like one another, each with a small fleur-de-lis woodcut on the title page, and place and date on one line at the very bottom of the title-page, i. e., they were all set by the same printer.
Although the 3 are perfect to be bound together, they are often found separately. The third title appeared by itself at auction in 2012 and is found alone at UCLA. BYU has the second and the third title, but not the first one. The only American record of the 3 together seems to be the Library of Congress. No record of these 3 are found in Adams or the BL Italian STC. I. CNCE 18515; II. CNCE 20487. III. CNCE 35714.
