This copy with variant preliminaries of the first part, different from that described by ESTC. Our copy has the title leaf and a second leaf, "Books Written by Whitelocke Bulstrode" only, before the beginning of the text "The [first] Charge of Whitelocke Bulstrode, Esq., to the Grand-Jury..." ESTC records the second & third parts which were published  independently. The title page to the second part is dated 1718, the third part is dated 1723.  The first part appeared separately in 1718.  After the third part was printed in 1723 the publisher's brought together the three parts under this title "A Compendium".
