Fore-edge clasps lacking. The top 1/4" of the title leaf has been trimmed off (removing a signature?) and neatly repaired with a paper strip, resulting in the first word of the title "Sacrosancti" being trimmed off.    $300.00 (trade discount allowed)
The canons and decrees of the Council of Trent. A second part (separate title-page and collation) was issued in 1598. Obviously our copy in its original binding was sold prior to printing the second part. Both parts are usually found together.
