York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1906. First American Edition. Large
octavo (7-1/4" x 10") in publisher's decorated cloth. Illustrated with
49 (of 50, lacking "The Hump") full-page tipped-in color plates by
Arthur Rackham, all with captioned tissue guards, as well as a number of
black-and-white drawings, many also full-page. Some foxing and soiling
internally, text mostly clean and plates fine; later owner inscriptions
on front endpaper and blank; spine is lacking the cloth at the top
third, covers rubbed with small pieces lacking. Good at best but plates
