Six Catalogs of 20th Century Silverwork- $50/ for all 6
“Contemporary Silver Tableware” By Chris Walton. Published in London by
The Goldsmiths’ Company in 1996. The catalog to an exhibition which
showcased the work of 25 leading designers of sterling flatware,
teapots, candlesticks, and other tablewares. Softcover. 8.25”x8.25”, 26
pages, color illustrations. The covers have a little scuffing, otherwise
clean and nice, with a tight binding.
“The Commemorative Cup” Published in New York by Rosanne Raab Associates
in 1995. "A traveling exhibition of unique silver cups designed and hand
crafted by fifty contemporary American metalsmiths. Each cup, through
its form or surface decoration, reflects personal or present day social
issues." Rather ingeniously, each color plate is presented as a
detachable postcard. Softcover. 6.75"x4", 50 color plates. Minor soil,
but otherwise clean and nice, with a tight binding.
“8. Europaische Silbertriennale ’86 / 8th European Silvertriennale ’86”
Published by the Gesselschaft fur Goldschmiedekunst & Deutsches
Goldschmiedehaus in 1986. The European Silvertriennale was begun in
1965, and features a wide range of pieces from contemporary European
silversmiths to showcase a wide range of artistic and technical
possibilities “inherent in the tradition of silversmithing”. This 1986
catalog showcases the work of 109 silversmiths from Austria, Denmark,
Finland, Italy, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden,
Switzerland and the Federal Republic of Germany. Softcover. 8.25”x8.25”,
225 pages, black & white illustrations. Minor wear and scuffing to the
covers.
“Jean Lemmens” By Leo De Ren. Published in Antwerp by the Provinciaal
Museum Sterckshof-Zilvercentrum in 1999. The 1998 Exhibition featured
the work of Jean Lemmens. His table centerpiece for the tea business DAS
kUchen BOAT has the shape of a submarine and is a combination of modern
silverware with Japanese lacquerware. Dutch/English/French text.
Sterckshof Studies #12. Softcover. 8.5”x10.5”, 17 pages, color
illustrations. Minor wear, but otherwise clean and nice, with a tight
binding.
“Nedda El-Asmar” By Leo De Ren. Published in Antwerp by the Provinciaal
Museum Sterckshof-Zilvercentrum in 1997. Nedda El-Asmar had created
several designs for well-known houses like Hermès and Puiforcat, in
Paris. In 1997 she designed the Sterckshofopdracht exhibition 'Breakfast
in the Galaxy'. Dutch/English text. Sterckshof Studies #8. Softcover.
8.5”x10.5”, 17 pages, color illustrations. Minor wear, but otherwise
clean and nice, with a tight binding.
“Recent Acquisitions by the Goldsmiths’ Company, 1975-1985” Published in
London by The Goldsmiths’ Company in 1985. Silver, medals and jewelry by
fine contemporary English goldsmiths. Softcover. 8”x11.5”, 23 pages,
color and black & white illustrations. Some minor wear, but otherwise
clean and nice, with a tight binding.

outside the U.S. will be billed at cost. We accept returns if we are
notified within ten days of your receipt of the books-please ask for
full instructions and terms. Massachusetts residents must add 6.25%
state sales tax.
