CT: The American Publishing Company, 1876. First American Edition. FIRST 
PRINTING on wove paper and with half-title and frontispiece with blank 
versos and with "THE" on the half-title page in 10-point rather than 
14-point type. Original blue cloth with peach endpapers with front and 
rear triple flyleaves of laid paper; four pages of ads at the rear. BAL 
3369. MacDonnell, 39-40. Illustrated by True Williams and others. Two 
pages with professional repairs to tears; hinges unbroken and covers 
tight. Light edgewear with some rubbing and wear to the spine. Easily
