Press, 1928. Large octavo (8-1/4" x 12-1/2") bound in full orange vellum 
with a gilt decorative device at the center of both covers. Copy #290 of 
1475 copies on Van Gelder paper with Dante's original Italian text 
printed parallel to Rev. Henry F. Cary's English translation (1814, a 
translation much loved by Coleridge), and with reproductions of 42 of 
Sandro Botticelli's engravings, which were used in the first Florentine 
edition of the Divine Comedy (1481). Foxing to first and last few pages, 
heaviest to pastedowns and then light; spine evenly sunned to a white
