Vienna: Anton Doll. 1807. 8vo. Two parts in one.  (4),363,(5)pp. With the two folding plates at back, one the skeleton of a mammoth, and the other the map titled "Karte von Missouri." Bound in what appears to be original thin brown cloth, without a spine label. Cloth soiled, with a few small chips. Title and text with some old light soiling. The map is quite decent, without any tears. A good copy only.    $500.00 (trade discount allowed)
The second German edition, translated from the French. "The map is the best of that region published at that time." (Howes). The text is in two parts, from p.305 to the end is an account of travel to the Caribbean island of Martinique.  Sabin 61014. Howes p244. Sabin 61102.
