Tall folio (15-1/2" tall). (6),208pp. plus 103 numbered copper engraved plates containing 396 coins and medals (obverse and reverse of each). Title printed in red & black. An exceptional copy in orig. roll-tooled paneled white pigskin with light brown morocco spine label. Pigskin a bit soiled, but a very attractive folio.                                                                             $500.00 (trade discount allowed)
The title page copper engraved vignette is signed in the plate, "B. Picart, 1719." This volume is often found by itself, but it was published as the final (4th) volume of Le Clerc's History of the Low Countries.
