Edition. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the poet on the front endpaper to
Frances and Albert Goodrich with a poem: "for Frances and Albert/A
LITTLE STIFF FROM WHEELING,/or,/Westward the Course of Chlorine/The
tongues of the people are fashioned/By the hand of an All-wise
Potter./In places where people say walter,/The water tastes like
walter./Ogden Nash/11-25-49." Spine a bit sunned. Near Fine in a Near
Fine dustwrapper with a few tears.
The Goodriches were screenwriters and playwrights; their credits include
