Bound in full navy blue crushed morocco for the Cunard Steamship Company, with its emblem tooled in gilt on the front and rear covers. Modest bumping and wear to the corners and bottom edges; contents with mild toning, a few light spots, small ink stain to fore-edge of the text block, one leaf protruding slightly with wear to the edges, else clean and sound, securely bound. The Cunard Steamship Co. Ltd. was incorporated just the year before this book's publication. Areas covered include: Java, Borneo, Timor, the Celebes [Sulawesi], the Moluccas or Spice Islands [Maluku], New Guinea, the Philippines.
