The first complete treatise on differential calculus, and as such, a mathematical milestone. The Marquis de l'Hospital (1661-1704) was among the earliest pupils of John Bernoulli, and put together this treatise explaining his teacher's principles and methods. Norman 1345. Honeyman 2006.
