1930s Juvenile Delinquent Summary Sheets.

Two sets of J.D. reports, one a set of two un-attached, dated 1930, and
also a set of 8 stapled sheets dated 1934. The two 1930 sheets include
names and street addresses, but do not include the offenses. Each 1934
sheet includes names, street addreses, AND the offenses, which are
wildly varied, ranging from “missing” (a surprisingly large number) to
such childish pranks as “scattering paper”, “petting in a public place”,
“bike with sirens”, “annoying neighbors”, and “stole peanuts”, to
“damage to property”, “shooting”, “suspected of rape”, and “robbery and
grand theft auto”. There are a few, such as “molested by a man”, where
you wonder why the youth is being blamed. There is no mention of the
locality of all this evil-doing.

10 8.5”x11” sheets. Some soil and wear. [47321] $40
