Inscribed at the top of page 1, in ink, "to George Dagher -- the flatterer, from Vincent Starrett." Also with Starrett's autograph in capital letters under the title.    $200.00 (trade discount allowed)
A short story. At this date, 1914, Starrett was not quite 28 years old. He was mostly working in Mexico as a newspaper correspondent in 1914.
