New York: Privately printed, 1928. First edition. Frontispiece caricature portrait of Peirce, by Rockwell Kent. Hardcover, quarto. Bound in gray paper over bevelled boards with some spots of foxing. The book is in a custom folder and slipcase of brown cloth, with gilt-stamped spine on slipcase.

The rare suppressed 1928 edition of Peirce's satiric poem on Rockwell Kent. Of the 100 copies printed, all but 13 were reputedly destroyed because of the many typos in the text.

This copy is inscribed and signed by Kent on a preliminary blank leaf, and additionally signed by Kent in the lower margin of the frontispiece. The frontispiece depicts Waldo Peirce and was captioned by Kent, "The Olympian Pierce [sic] reading his terrific lines to a group of young ladies."

Laid in is a one-page typed letter signed by Peirce, discussing Unser Kent. The letter is filled with typos, no doubt mocking this error-ridden edition of the book.
