(Venice: Bernardino de Vidali). 1528. 4to. ff.(11),185,(51). The final blank lacking. With the beautiful double page woodcut map of southern France between Vaucluse and Avignon, following the index at front. 2 parts in 1, the second part being "I Triomphi." Bound in early 19th century polished black morocco, ruled in gilt. Finely rebacked with the gilt spine laid down. A.e.g. This copy with the blank leaf before the title-page with early manuscript notes. This is the second edition to contain the important annotations of Vellutello; the first was 1525. This copy is Adams P798, the rare issue with "Alessandro" spelled "Allessandro" on the title page. BL Italian STC p. 504.  Photos can be seen on ABE.
