The original AMERICAN BOOK COLLECTOR began in Sept. 1950 to July/Aug. 1976, when it ceased. For the next 4 years a similar journal started, 1976-1979, which was called BOOK COLLECTOR'S MARKET, then in 1980 began THE AMERICAN BOOK COLLECTOR. NEW SERIES, a third iteration, but stands alone.
