The John of Gaunt A.1. Book of Views of Lancaster, Morecambe, Ingleton
and the Lakes.

No place, no date, but English, 1870s.

An uncommon little item, not listed on OCLC nor found anywhere on the
internets. Though undated, we can wager a guess- one of the images shows
Morecambe’s “old pier” and “new pier”; the new pier was opened in 1869.
There are 27 black & white illustrations on 12 folding panels, showing
artist’s drawings of landscapes, cityscapes, buildings, and historic,
places.

Paper covers holding 12 folding panel, most with two black & white
illustrations. 4.75”x5.25” [covers], 5.25”x52.25” [panels]. Covers with
some soil and wear, chips, rear cover detached. {49450} $75
