Cont. vellum, "Thucydides" lettered on spine (now faded). Old paper label on lower spine. Title page a bit dust soiled. Previous ownership inscription, dated 1595, lined over, on bottom of title. Very clean text. All three fore-edges each with 3 red stained stripes, an unusual fore-edge decoration. A very nice copy in its original binding.    $6,000.00 (trade discount allowed)
