In Hac Secunda Editione quae Amplius... (Geneva): H. Estienne. 1588. Folio. (20),621,(1);(14),73,(1)pp. Double column text, Greek & Latin. Large Estienne woodcut device on title. Woodcut initials. Cont. vellum, "Thucydides" lettered on spine (now faded). Old paper label on lower spine. Title page a bit dust soiled. Previous ownership inscription, dated 1595, lined over, on bottom of title. Very clean text. All three fore-edges each with 3 red stained stripes, an unusual fore-edge decoration. A very nice copy in its original binding.    $6,000.00 (trade discount allowed)
