JAMES, Henry. TRANSATLANTIC SKETCHES. New York: James R. Osgood and 
Company, 1875. First Edition. Original terra-cotta (described by Edel as 
rust-brown) cloth with the spine imprint of J.R. Osgood & Co. BAL 10530: 
"1578 copies printed April 21, 1875. Copies were being bound as late as 
1882. Copies of the frist printing were later issued in binding with 
spine imprint: Houghton Mifflin & Co." Edel A2: 1500 copies. James's 
second book, issued less than three months after his first. Just a hint 
of wear to the spine tips and corners. A Fine, bright example, uncommon
