(Geneva): Henri Estienne. 1560. 16mo. 2 parts in 1. 576;432pp. Greek and Latin on opposite pages. Both title pages with a woodcut device. Cont. vellum, spine hand lettered. First title a bit soiled and some light text soiling, but overall very good. With the bookplate of the Prince of Lichtenstein. $1,250.00 (trade discount allowed)
With the second part, not always present, which is titled CARMINUM POETARUM NOVEM, the poetry of 8 other Greek lyric poets. Henri Estienne's first printing of Pindar (5 editions appeared before 1601). Renouard p. 118 #2. Adams P 1227. This is the only copy currently for sale on-line.
