THE HOLY BIBLE. London & New York: The Nonesuch Press and The Dial 
Press, 1924 - 1927. Five quarto (8" x 12-1/8") volumes bound in full 
parchment with gilt titles and tooling to the spine, fleuron cornerpiece 
designs and central ornament within gilt frames to the front and rear 
covers. Typography arranged by Francis Meynell. Engraved title pages, 
head pieces, and tail pieces by Stephen Gooden. Each volume is one of 
1000 unnumbered copies printed on japon vellum of a total edition of 
1075. The APOCRYPHA is copy #882 of 1250 printed on japon vellum of a 
total edition of 1325. Sporadic light foxing; covers a tad soiled but 
much better than normally found. Near Fine. (#019544)        $350
