1887 List of Divorces Obtained by Kohn Wakefield Massachusetts Lawyer
Promotional Handbill.

An interesting promotional handbill for lawyer John F. Wakefield who
specialized in divorce settlements before the Supreme Judicial Court
of Massachusetts, listing cases he won between 1877 and 1887. Speaking
of himself in the third person he promises- “he will not enter a case
unless it appears reasonably certain of success, and after obtaining
full facts and particulars of the causes upon which you rely for a
divorce he is able to inform you, in a reliable manner, just what can
be done, and how, when and where your case can be obtained; and it it
cannot be legally obtained, he will frankly inform you, thereby
preventing you expending your money”.

Single sheet. 8.5”x11”, Folds. Minor soil, light wear. $60
